Sensitization for Children and Young Adults, so we have a more inclusive future.

Colouring books, Story books, Peer written Biographies

All books feature children and adults with disabilities in inclusive settings and themes. If we begin the conversation early, the stigma around the word "disability" disappears.

You can order these books from our publications page. We also conduct workshops for children.

Students from different schools across India sent in their drawings depicting their peers playing games, making speeches, climbing mountains and also drew inspirational characters from the disability community that have pushed the cause of inclusion ahead - like Stephen Hawking, etc.

"Celebrating Differences" by EKansh Trust

with and at Indira Priyadarshini Children’s Library, Cubbon Park, Bangalore.

An event to mark World Librarian Day, and to create awareness and sensitize children about disability and encourage empathy and inclusion from an early age.

Children from standards 5 to 9 chose between essay writing and picture making [Drawing and colouring] based on the theme of “Inclusion and empowerment of People with Disabilities”. The idea is always to promote empathy and not sympathy.

The video has pictures from the event showing participants drawing, writing, learning some sign language, having lunch, holding the Indian flag with the Library authorities and their teachers.

It was an enjoyable morning full of fun, making new friends and learning.
